Profesní/pedagogická kariéra:

I have been teaching English Literature and Language at Universities in the Czech Republic since 2005, previous to that I was a teacher of English at language schools. My specialities are young adult literature, literature and the environment, literature and the esoteric, and contemporary and traditional folk and fairy tale. This year I am beginning a PhD on the topic of Animal Transformation in Contemporary Narrative with Winchester University, UK.

Umělecká kariéra:

I am currently in the process of writing two novels, one for children and one for adults, and also regularly perform my poetry. I run seminars and workshops on the interaction of folklore, myth and contemporary literature, as well as on the topic of folklore and contemporary spirituality.
